Hi, I’m Hisay Lama - a Physicist working at the Imperial College London, U.K.
I’m interested in applied quantitative research that uses machine learning and principles from statistical physics to analyze and model complex, data-driven systems, such as in finance. My work focuses on translating physics-based concepts - such as stochastic dynamics, collective behavior, and scaling laws - into practical models for prediction, risk analysis, and decision-making. Through projects in machine learning, financial modeling, complex systems, and quantitative image processing, I aim to develop robust, interpretable, and scalable solutions relevant to data science, applied research, and quantitative roles in industry.
See my notable work on the Projects page.
